The Fermi Paradox: Migration

We frequently marvel the place all of the huge and historical alien civilizations are, however might or not it’s that they’ve migrated distant in house or time, and even journeyed past our cosmos?

  1. I like to think that life on planet earth (humans) is the result of a biological von neumann probe that has its goal being the production of AI, or that AI is the next step in the development process.

  2. The crazy thing is we have the technology now to crawlonize the soloar system and even the next closet soloar systems. Its just very dangerous and very expensive. But the biggest hindering factor is the cost would exceed the entire earths gdp for man many years 😅

  3. It took 200 years of heavy migration and building infrastructure for the united stated to become a technology empire. Bright side of our solar system, we dont seem to have any native intelligence that we would need to commit atrocities and fight wars with to steal their area. Id sign up now if it was available, id really love to go help set up a colony on either Luna, Ceres, heck even vesta. 200 years it would be a "small" Metropolitan hopefully

  5. The older i get the more i just want to mind my own business and be left alone! 🤣 im not a scientist tho! It would be great to make contact and be able to talk/trade ideas etc. i believe it will be enlightening. Imagine how everything would change if advanced civilizations started their conversation with Jesus Christ!!!! We found life on another planet!

  6. I know its very boring, but I firmly believe that Virtual Reality Tech is the culprit. When every single individual in a civilization can live as gods in their own personal virtual universe that is indistinguishable from reality, tailored to their every need, want or fantasies – why would anyone choose to live in the grey boring "real" world? There's your answer. You cannot become a very technologically advanced civilization without ever inventing any kind of brain connection interface VR tech.

  7. People all over the world need to know about Korea's room-temperature, pressure superconductors. The world is going to go through a cultural shift.

This is a global revolution. Every electronic product in the world, every wire installed in the world, every car, every ship, every semiconductor,

every hydrogen fuel cell, all of this has to change. At the center of this is Korea's Shinsung Delta Tech, and soon the first room-temperature,

pressure superconductor prototype will roll out of the factory.

LK99 is a room-temperature, high-voltage superconductor that could help build quantum computers,

create artificial suns to solve electricity shortages, and cure cancer and other viruses that were previously impossible.

Discover the world of room-temperature superconductors

  9. I mean, that would be quite a reasonable explanation actually. There might be some sort of "easy" way to trascend into another dimension where everything is more convenient that "only" takes a couple of million years to solve. That + FTL isnt real would account to why no one proceeds to interstellar colonization, even if life appears it either goes extinct or arrives at this conclussion.

  10. Can we come up with a new name for our Galaxy. "The Milky Way" is so clumsy, inappropriate amongst all the other cool galaxy names like Andromeda, and such a misnomer, named after some Greek goddess's breast milk. Really? Do we call our planet "Zeus's Testicle"? How about Galaxy 0 or Home Galaxy?

  11. My view is that the vastness of the Universe and the speed of light coupled with the short time we have produced electromagnetic emissions means in the minuscule time we will exist a species means there is as much chance of seeing a WOW signal of any meaning is the same as a message in a bottle that has sunk in the Mariana Trench. As for FTL that’s SciFi and near Light Speed millennia away.

  12. Time travel? really? you love to talk what's likely and then give this in the introduction. How do you even consider Time travel and yet so blatantly dismiss ideas that YOU don't agree with or like, that, Issac, is Hypocritical at best.

Show proof of travelling in time, not just some equation of theoretical time travel, but actual time travel. moving at tremendous speeds is not time travel, it may seem like it to the individuals involved but all it is, is how long it took for a ship moving at a speed to get from point a to point b, it doesn't matter that time slows down around you as you approach the speed of light, the universe still moves through time at a constant rate, so it's not time travel.

  13. Hmmm… good point on AI or civilizations who achieved (near) immortality – if you gonna live 'forever', why would you produce more of, or seek to meet others who will live 'forever' as well. At that point they are your rivals and it's not in your interest to have more of them…

  14. Isaac, you may want to consider uses for the exaust resulting from moving the sun into the core. Could it not be used as a raw material matter stream and propusion for a massive antipodal armada voyaging out of the galaxy at the same time that the sun is moved inward? It seems wasteful of such a useful resource to just shoot it out to no further purpose.
