  • I have a question, I got asked why I chose Illinois as a state to study in and I said because of it’s tropical climate (was a fumble as I was not prepared for this and I got told at the end that Illinois does not have tropical climate).

Will this response I gave be stored and affect me negatively if I go for another interview? Hope you see this, I’m in desperate need of help

  • Hello Officer,
I was rejected in my F1 visa interview on 20th July. The reason is that I couldn't demonstrate strong ties to my home country. I am 30+ single. This adds to it even more.

I have been pursuing MS in data science from NJIT. I got admitted in 2020. So, I left my job n started the procedure but due to COVID there was a lockdown announced that time, so I defer my admit to 2021 bcoz I wasn't confident enough to start my program as a flexpath(online till you manage to get your visa). But later in 2021 I started my program as a flexpath student bcoz I hadn't wanted to waste time.
I deliberately enrolled for one course in each semester.
Later semesters I tried to secure a visa slot but I couldn't. This time I could secure a slot but I got rejected. The reason mentioned is that I couldn't demonstrate strong ties to my home country. As I completed 5 courses online, the officer may have doubts that I want to stay in the US and that's why I want to attend in person now. For that reason I requested a letter from NJIT that should mention that I am a flexpath student and that is why I started the program online. I really don't want to delay again, I am feeling like my career is in risk I really need your assistance.
    How to deal with it?
Need some tips n guidance for filling ds 160 for my case.
I m not a only child. I don't have an any family business. I left my job. How to show strong ties?
Sorry I am asking you here without consultation fee but I really don't afford to pay your charges. Its expensive for me. I hope you won't mind.

    Thank you in advance.

  • Hi . Thanks for your good video and information.
I have a question. I received ESL admission and the i20 letter came and I got a visa appointment . I entered in the ds160 form , my national service , the Army .
As you know in Iran , national service for 2 years is mandatory in IRGC ( in banned list of USA) but I was a primary school teacher in those 2 years . 8 years ago .
Do you think I should edit and write the truth in that form ds160 ? Do I have any chance of getting a visa? Is it possible to edit ds160 at all ? Please guide me.
    Thank you and thank you

My program start date is january 4th 2024, and I have a visa interview date of august 22nd 2023, which is more than 120 days before the start date of my program. Would the consular actually issue me the visa or do you suggest moving the interview date ahead? Would i be rejected f1 visa for applying earlier than 120 days before my program start date? Please help.
