Good Step. They should also consider stopping the TN1 visa for naturalized Canadian citizens. Many people first move to Canada on PR, become citizens within a few years, and then obtain questionable or fake certificates—either in Canada or from India. Using these credentials, they secure IT jobs in the U.S. despite not having a valid degree. The Trump administration should focus on addressing this issue as well.
Oh well, US companies will hire the same talent in their Indian GCCs.
