  • I'm a Canadian, i did one of those undesirable jobs because there was literally nothing else available to me (even getting that position was like winning a lottery). U r partially correct about a regular Canadian not wanting to work those jobs. But let me tell u y u r wrong. Pay is pathetic: for minimum wage (plus tips if u r lucky) they will squeeze every cent of work out of u, n i mean that in the most literal sense.

Ur competition at the workplace r Indians, who r WILLING to work themselves to the BONE. Look, I know im not employee of the month in the kitchen, but i tried. I have some dignity. I was singled out, called slow daily, n my hours were reduced to half of part time hours (from full time) after new management took over (u guessed it, new punjabi manager).

So in a nutshell: the indian immigrant labour force reduced the pay to work ratio (ie more work same/less pay), increased expectations at the workplace beyond reasonable. Honestly, id rather jump off of the CN tower than have to go through that dumpster fire again. It is dehumanising, excessively stressful.

This would not be happening if we had a couple million less immigrants. Canada is becoming a 3rd world country. Im not even sure y u two girls came here knowing what i know.

  • I get that network is important and can help getting a job, but for a job market to rely completely on referrals and network feels incredibly unfair and based on favoritism, you should get a job because you're qualified, not because you're Jeff buddy's buddy …

  • I have found out that most companies are looking for experienced employees. I barely have experience and this is my problem here in Canada. I just moved to city and im hoping that my search will come to an end.

  • Justin T is worse PM
Poor infrastructure, LIMA scam so popular . People from USA and Australia 🇦🇺 is buying
That is why no 🇨🇦 getting jobs
    Never vote NDP liberals govt

  • Woke government that makes sure blacks, browns, Muslims, fake refugees, economic migrants get all the jobs and White man and Indigenous people have no jobs. Justin Trudeau Marxist agenda!

  • They never hire!!!!!! I send them resumes and resume … I have an MA, a college graduate certificate and about 10 yrs of experience in Canada ! I email the hiring managers to initiate the connection or whatever that is for … yet, nothing 😢

  • LinkedIn is the biggest crock out there. It's a cash grab for them to make money on the top profiles who pay for the Premium service. If someone does not pay for the Premium, they will not get noticed. LinkedIn is also littered with a lot of DEI profiles, mostly Indian.

  • Been applying for a year now to all low wage shit jobs and I still haven’t found something close to by that I can get to in less then 2 hours. Many jobs are preferring immigrants due to them cutting our wages and a lot of companies are run by immigrants now and they are preferring other immigrants for the role. That’s why you go around and see full subways and Tim Hortons FULL of immigrants, not ONE WHITE PERSON… not one person from Canada

  • Overwhelmed with your negativity. Do you have a job in Canada? Positivity goes a long way. You video provides little encouragement for those that are new to Canada. I watched one of your other videos that Seattle USA-why don't you go. Sorry this video came on my you tube. Done watching anything else you produce. Misery loves company based on the views you are receiving. Cut the intensity in your delivery -you are a miserable person.

  • Please don’t spread the narrative Canadians don’t want low skilled jobs I have to live on welfare and temporary subsidized housing because it extremely hard to find a job, I have been searching since February, all I want is a job ILL TAKE ANYTHING

  • The reason is mostly due to reference. I had applied several companies and several organizations but they just say sorry we found a different candidate that closely falls in job description. This just a cover-up by companies to hide the people they choose is due to reference. Also they have many false jobs on many sites it's just to show they are attracting more workers but it's just a blanket over the people who apply for a job.

  • I'm not a student, and despite having completed my master’s degree and spending a significant amount of money, I’ve been unable to secure a job for over seven months. I've applied to countless positions but haven’t had any success with entry-level opportunities.

  • In the last 10 years I have been the one who trains new people at the companies I work for. I have seriously noticed that the more time goes on, the hires are less and less capable and willing to do any work. The work ethic in most people is, to put it lightly, pathetic. I never again want to train unskilled people ever again. I couldn't believe how angry people get when asked to do their job. When a boss asks workers to do their job they complain they being bullied. When you try and train workers and tell them the way they are doing things is not correct, they complain they are being bullied. When you explain to them they don't listen.

I used to do very heavy labor and gravel work. I think I trained over 30 people, and not one of them stuck around. I understand now why companies put so much time into figuring out why not to hire people, and are so picky. I wasted so much time training people, that where nothing but a drain on the company and a waste of everyone's time.

The sad fact is how no companies are willing to train people because the problems I just explained. There for, if you do not have EXACTLY the skill set needed, they will not deal with you. If they have to train you at all, HARD NOPE.

Now on, if any company ever asks me to train new people I will either demand double my pay or refuse to do it.

  • the tips in this video have nothing to do with getting a job… they are tips for getting a career.

Making a Linkedin account and contacting people and all that for a min wage low skill job?

  • 15 years ago – 15 resume sent – 95% reply for a first interview ..longest search to get a job 3 weeks . Now I sent 34! resumes – 0! (zero) replay in 4 month , even no "rejection" messages . I would not waste more of my time for corporations. not worth it at all .

  • I left this wretched no jobs economy country (for the first time) in 1981; found a decent job in Australia within the first two weeks of my arrival, never looked back. Yes, I was an economic refugee decades ago.

  • I would suggest job seekers to keep track wiich companiesn you applied to and if one of these companies called you back for an interwiew ask why they din not hire someone back then or so far cause that comoany is not serious just a bunch of nervous and insecure people that will make your life job a hell thas for sure…it happened to me…of course keep looking cause its a waste of time goint in i terwiew with them…

  • Why are many companies in Canada nor hiring Canadians or landed immigrants?
many are hiring what they called themselves international students.
What is wrong with our government allowing this type of reverse discrimination against Canadians.? There is a video of a international student telling other international student telling them who will hire them.

  • Mass immigration is taking a lot of jobs, that's a fact. I worked for many large companies in Canada, all the best ones and at least 3/10 coworkers were new immigrants, since 2015. Now it's closer to 5/10. Corporations are greedy, including Canada's big banks, who want to keep earnings growing by outsourcing labour. I had one coworker who was a software developer who was being treated as a slave. I said why not quit, but she said she couldn't because she would lose her work visa.
