Will we still have the option to choose having separate cards for our
accounts if we prefer and We should? This will not
be a mandatory thing, will it?

I really hope this ages bad! Use me as a we don’t want it button.😑
I guess the hackers will also be studying along to see how they can continue their stealing 😅
Theres no need to be worried.. do you guys remember when they announced to roll out chip and pin cards in the US? Still now pin required 😂😂
I hate Apple Pay and all digital wallets. Again, trying to make us all dependent on phones.
Sounds pretty good to me
One step closer to totalitarian control. Don’t do want the liberal new world order wants, and they will turn off your ability to buy food.
Vote Trump in 2024!
Curve already does all of this, across banks and cc companies
Wouldn't work for those of us who don't have smart phones.
This seems very dangerous and confusing
It's basically the Curve card. I would have loved Curve if it actually worked.
Why does this look and feel dystopian?
It sounds like a big headache. I don’t like it. I’ll have to start using cash more often. After all, cash is still king.
We give these companies way too much control over our lives.
Sounds like a PITA
Overly complicated for the elderly. I as well as my friends do not have smart phones.
My kitchen phone has been perfectly good for over 40 years.
As an IT professional, I don't trust this but see the transition as inevitable (over a long period of time.)
Most definitely not for me!
I already get all these advantages without the “all the eggs in one basket” conundrum. It’s called Apple Pay.
Well, what I like is a card not having the numbers on it and everything else but I don’t like one card with four different bank accounts on it
Putting everything in one basket… Visa needs a financial advisor.
going to be weird say with Chase – since the Sapphire line and Freedom Unlimited are Visa, but the Freedom Flex is a Mastercard.
I would like option for one card that allows choosing based on spedn category. Ben is roght this would make it the best but we know they will not do it
I just completed what is possibly the best Hilton points transfer of all time. I already had 310,000 points from some sign on bonuses, and Amex had the 1:2.8 transfer with Hilton now. So I transfer 40k points over for a new balance of 442,000. Once I finish the 15k spent on my surpass card, I will have the 480,000 points necessary for 4 nights at the Waldorf Astoria Cabo, triggering the 5th free night. And I’ll use the free night certificate for a 6th night free.
And since the Waldorf Astoria in Cabo actually gets about 1¢ per point in redemption, this specific transfer of 40,000 points unlocks 2 nights there or essentially $2,400 in value. 6 cents per point
With a total 6 night free stay valued at about $7,200 🥸
I want the banks to go a step further. I have 5 citi cards, strata premier, 2 custom cash, double cash, and rewards plus. If you are gonna give me a card that links all of them, then remove me having to select what card I want to use and just let me set the categories for each card spend. I would rather have my cards and physically take them out if the alternative was having to go into the app and manually select them every time.
You will learn Vietnamese?
I hate this
….1st) #'s are used online to make a personal purchase NOT a public purchase!
2)at home on personal computer, stick your card in the wall to make payment please !
3) different cards used for Different things are our choices to use since we pay the fees!
4) Population financial control, Human Population control
….need I say more, didn't think so lol
How many times do we have to go through this! It is never a good idea for the consumer for the powers that be to consolidate that power exclamation point keep multiple cards not all eggs should go in one basket
sounds like a terrible idea.
Lots of people don’t use digital wallets and don’t have any desire to do so.
The first thing that comes to mind is: if the cards no longer have a user-facing number, how will online purchases work? I have yet to make a purchase online that didn't involve me typing in my credit card number and security code at some point, even if that was just when signing up for an account. Getting rid of the number breaks "backwards compatibility" in a big way.
We have a curve card for the master card
Your idea of the Visa app assigning purchases to different cards based on their category is nice but this is honestly something I am not interested in. Apple Pay takes care of all my needs already and I have slimmed my wallet down to just my driver license, debit card, and two credit cards and I only carry the two credit cards incase a place does not take Apple Pay.
Also having no credit card number makes me wonder how payments to credit cards would be made. I prefer, because I had an issue with a credit card pushing my payments to my credit cards with my bank's bill pay service instead of having credit card companies pull their payments.
Also I would not mind getting the Robinhood Gold solid gold credit card.
This sounds like a horrific idea…..
Coincidentally, GooglePay is being cancelled out soon while retaining GoogleWallet.
Easier for fraudsters and stolen phones
They're copying the Curve card minus its best feature: go back in time.
I’m curious to see how many more custom credit card companies appear when this new system takes off since there won’t be any fear I need to replace the card in total just the number itself
I can hear the customer complaints from using the wrong card account already…
Seems like Ali-Pay.
