  1. This is so lovely – we have a well done, but very aged 30 year old driveway. Cost to demo and replace are in excess of $30k. Just totally unaffordable for the average person. Appreciate seeing repair work!

  2. Very impressive work !! I learned a lot watching this video !!! Thank you so much…. I have a question though. I have a radiator shop and my slab where I wash my radiators, the acid I use to clean them has over time caused the concrete to start getting thin and starting to open up cracks, but only in one spot where I wash about 3'X4', that is at a slight drop to my drain. Will I need to cut that whole spot out or is there a way I can lay another layer on top ?? Any info would be amazing…. Thanks !!

  4. To slow the set down, you can add 0.04% sugar by weight. Add the sugar to the water and mix it thoroughly before adding it to the dry concrete. This will about double the working time and increase strength by 5-10%.

  5. Need to show the hydration process for rapid set. It will crack of you don't hydrate it. It will turn instantly in front of your eyes. Once that gloss disappears start hitting it with water. It will get hot.

  6. Hi Mike Day
I live in a trailer park. I'm trying to find out how to reserface my patio top. It's old as the hills . I don't know what kind of cement was used to make these. Do you know anything I can use to resurface the prickly top of this patio? I want to be able to sit and bbq,and other things too.
    Thanks,
    Cheryl 🙂

  7. You also said right before the video was done that you were going to show what type of coating you put on top of the cement slabs to help protect them or paint and never did????? AND YOU NEVER WET SURFACE FIRST???? Even if your sad excuse was that their was no access to water at premises, even a teenager would have known to buy a pump sprayer for $25 at Home Depot and filled it with water before arrival LMAO!…—->AMATUERS! THAT JOB WILL BE CRACKING IN NO TIME!

  8. Ok watched you do your youtubes . I admire your hard work ethic and professionalism. Here's my dilemma. I live on Canada I'm restoring a farm house we own. Can't get anyone to do my stamp concrete. I'm 66 and still have my farmer stamina at least for 5 or six hours. I've got 700 square feet ready to pour. Do I need steal mesh or fiber? Now I may lose your confidence but I need to run this by you. 4 1/2 I get the ready mix truck in I only pour 3" Then get my 6 cube mixer out buy color and stamps mix my own concrete and do small peices I can handle. Can this be done and stand up. I've done concrete finishing as a jack of all trades farmer.
