I do not understand the obsession with the 0-60 of new Prius. IMHO Prius was meant to be the pinnacle of efficiency while still being practical. It seems they sacrificed both with this new generation.
I would really like to get one, but not worth paying for additional markups. The 2024 Tesla Model Y, is now priced, similar or less than the Prime.

11:50 "this is how much space I have" proceeds to be out of frame and can't see how much headroom there is.
Would have looked better in the rear with a nice sporty exhaust pipe & rolled stainless-steel finisher tip, but I'm guessing Toyota is trying to hide the ICE parts of their hybrid in favor of the sterile, castrated "EV look".

You know what? I LOVE THIS MODEL! I always ragged on Prius running slow, and boring body styles over 10 years now.
Love side profile, sporty. Front and rear are nice too👌MPGs are dynamite, but interior is still kind of basic.. Hmmm. Ambiant lighting don't care… I'd consider this possibility for a hybrid car. I'm driving a 2004 Hyundai Sonata, gah the bad mileage LOLOL. But live it still
Has anyone switched from Camry to Prius? Been driving a Camry for 11 years and don't know if I can give up the spaciousness of it for a Prius, particulary the '24.
Does it have a real first gear (not CVT)–no lag and more torque than an all CVT drivetrain?
