Everything that is said in this video is false with an intention for narrative building. The facts are:
—no one in US is affected.
—no one in US is against what the admin is doing and infact fully support anti-H1 actions.
—because H1s have abused the system with fake documents
—the video says, “it was easy to get H1 earlier when one had a job offer”. That is exactly the problem. Those job offers were fake and H1s were put on the bench and used for cheap labor.
—American workers are asked to train the new incoming H1s and then leave under a confidentiality agreement. If not, their termination package was put on hold. That is so wrong. So, the action on H1s is justified.
—there has been a flood of H1s doing cheap labor jobs with infinite extensions for ever. This has become a proxy to GC. If the extensions are infinite, then no one needs a GC. That is the exact problem.
—H4 EADs have no limits. The are doing multiple jobs with no cap. That is another loophole.
—US today, doesn’t have any shortage of STEM graduates, infact has excess professionals today, over a million per year now. So, why bring H1s?

First of all, when USA is producing 700,000 STEM graduates per year, how is bringing in 65,000 H1s per year and their dependents H4s justified? This H1B abuse is insane and should stop immediately. USA is for Americans, not Indians. Why do all Indians feel that USA is obligated to give them H1 permits? This is not an entitlement. You are entitled in your own country India, not USA. Corporate greed for cheap labor for H1B's 1/4th wages got this situation.
