I could never get my students to enter the contest. Not even for extra, extra credit. Ducks just weren't something they understood– not to hunt or to admire in the park. Mainly because there weren't ducks in the park and hunting was for people with money. Come to think of it, I helped mail a good number of college applications, and half the kids weren't entirely sure where to put the stamp. Ducks or not! ☺️
One year since the last time. I think I will make this my new year mark. I don't like New Year's Eve. It's too much pressure. This feels nice and fluffy.😊
The amount of work, time, effort and dedication you’ve both put into these paintings is something to celebrate in and of itself xx not to forget they look incredibly photorealistic and as you’ve even mentioned, the eyes have a soul! Good luck with this year, and with dedication and talent like this, it’s only a matter of time until you win someday
Do you get the original back as well after the contest is complete? Have former contestants donated or auctioned off former pieces for the same charity or similar?😊
