Schengen was supposed to ease internal movement inside the EU and protect the outside boarders from illegal migration. Somehow, the boarder rules are only being enforced for people that are crossing them legally, with their papers and proof that they can support themselves financially.
If somebody is invading a country, the country has every right to defend it self and use force. If that started to happen I think less would risk coming.

This really kicked off in 2011 with the destruction of Libya. Still nothing is done to tackle the root of the problem. Nothing is done to stop human trafficking. How many people are asking the question how millions of people are being smuggled over that many borders without being stopped.
It actually even goes worse, some stop-over point guards claim EU officials are simply paying them to have people brought to the Mediterranean.

There's no point having laws and borders if neither are enforced. One of the main purposes of ppl creating a society and country is to protect it from outsiders trying to enter without right and reason.
And it's suicidal to let ppl in who show outright that they do not respect your laws, rules, culture, identity, or borders. If someone breaks into your house would you call the police to remove them or make them dinner and give them your bedroom?
EU would've been near perfect if it did not allow whoever feels like it to enter the EU countries. Its free work and travel for EU citizens, not whoever feels like it(
No one wants to leave their home. People are desperate, very often because of our actions; centuries of colonialism and exploration, wars we started and continuous intervention. If you are here screaming "no more immigration" you are being manipulated by the right wing in whose best interest it is to have you go against those who have absolutely nothing as opposed to the rich and corporations who control everything. Your life isnt worse because of immigrants. Its because of an elite who wants you punching anywhere but up.
and where are they suppose to live? we do not have space nor jobs enough for them, what human right is it to relocate them just to starve somewhere else?
