Union Public Service Examinations every year and is one of the toughest examinations and cracking the Civil Services requires years of hard work and Vijay Wardhan is a true example of it. Despite failing 35 exams, Vijay refused to give up and cleared UPSC IAS.

Vijay belongs to Sirsa, Haryana, who had a dream of serving the nation. He completed his schooling in Sirda and pursued B.Tech in Electronics Engineering in Hisar

He suffered a lot of setbacks initially and later moved to Delhi to prepare for UPSC. He appeared for more than 30 competitive exams including Haryana PSC, UPPSC and CGL but failed to clear any of these.

Every exam he appeared for led him nowhere near success, but Vijay did not give up and learned from his failures. His failures became his motivation.

Vijay’s turning point came in 2018. He appeared for UPSC and cleared the examination with All India Rank 104 and became an IPS officer but he aspired more

To achieve more success, he reappeared for UPSC Examination and became an IAS officer, his lifelong dream

His journey is a testament of grit and patience. In an interview, Vijay Wardhan shared his advice to aspirants. He said that self-belief is essential and advised them to learn from their experiences

UPSC is conducting the exam this year on May 26, 2024. The applications began on February 14 and the last date to apply is March 5.

Candidates appearing for the exam must be at least 21 years old and a maximum of 32 years old to appear for the exam. The upper age limit is relaxed for reserved category candidates
