  1. This will be great. A further step is to impose even higher tariffs for buying Russian oil, financing the war against Ukraine and running scam call centers stealing millions from Americans

I hope all Indians return back and work in India. That will make India stronger. Yes, India may not be America, but Indian workers will get to keep their integrity and respect.

  4. Good Step. They should also consider stopping the TN1 visa for naturalized Canadian citizens. Many people first move to Canada on PR, become citizens within a few years, and then obtain questionable or fake certificates—either in Canada or from India. Using these credentials, they secure IT jobs in the U.S. despite not having a valid degree. The Trump administration should focus on addressing this issue as well.

  10. India is third world , 1/2 its economy is from remittances from Indians in USA , USA doesn't need any people from India , taking jobs , houses , food medical , school , Thousands American citizens with college degree can't get jobs because of foreigners from India & China in our country fro H1B visas !!

  13. This is ok. The US tech companies cannot find talent do these companies will ship jobs to their Indian development centers and Indian partner IT vendors. Indians will spend more in India and increase revenue. Americans will also get their jobs.

  14. We should use this to build our own versions of Google, Facebook, Netflix instead of building for others. Those gringo high school dropouts and their fetish towards entering sales, marketing and finance wont build technology. We must replace their dominance in the tech world and use them as our errand boys to do sales for us.

  15. Very good step from US. Now those companies will offer shore these jobs to their GCC Global capability centre in India. Those workers will come and work from here.
India Gains Forex and taxes from the salary/spending of these workers.
US Loses Jobs and taxes from the salary/spending of these workers.
The companies who have long paid a certain amount to a employee, won't start paying 3-4 times to an US worker, no matter how talented/eligible.
Although most workers won't come to India, instead they will move to Canada, Mexico.
It would take a miracle from Trump administration to keep these jobs in US

  16. Who is crazy to come to America given all the issues that's arising? To pay the 100000 USD is not worth it. Stay where you are or find alternate countries. H1B workers really? What happens to those who are junior IT personnel who came here with families?
