No Surname Queries : I was very eager to share my insights with the community, so sharing latest update based on my experience.
Successful applied 4 E-visas with 2 cases of no surname. My mother had just 1 word in the given name and my father had 2 words but both listed in the given name and no surname on the passports.
For my mother while applying evisa, i left given name blank and had put her name in the ‘surname’ field. For my father ( given name Parveen Kumar on passport), i had put ‘Parveen’ as surname and ‘Kumar’ as given name. Both visas granted on 3rd working day. No problem in boarding, we have crossed the immigration at Mumbai airport and about to board our Hanoi flight soon.

Key is to have everything consistent on ticket and passport as well and for visa, you can follow what I did. I followed this after a lot of research and glad it worked well. Good luck everyone.
P.S : Please note till 14th feb, Vietnam may not process any visas due to Tet holidays.
@tanya hi, we have applied for Vietnam visa 2weeks (10 buisness days)ago the boarding date(9th Feb). My husband's visa was sent back as denial and asked us to correct the details(name). My husband's surname is of 1 word and Given Name is of 5 words(there is no middle name,It is first name).In total his full name consist of 6 words. I have updated the names as present in passport.What do I do for approval? Need urgent help. I can explain more if possible
