One of the largest fears round hijrah to Saudi Arabia is residency. Are you able to keep long-term with out citizenship? Are vacationer visas practical? And what are your precise rights as a customer? On this episode, Dr. Ujama breaks down his actual expertise residing in Saudi Arabia for over 5 years, navigating visas, renewals, journey exits, and day by day life throughout Riyadh, Jeddah, Mecca, Medina, and Dammam. This isn’t principle or hype. It’s a grounded dialog about hijrah, residency, visas, and what expats ought to realistically count on when shifting to Saudi Arabia as Muslims in search of stability, security, and peace of thoughts.

I wanna move to Medina inshallah
Which city is the most profitable to buy a property from rental point of view ??
U dont have a Problem with 1 year Visa? Mashallah
I have big Problem with that
Assalam Alykum, How are you able to live with a Tourist visa? I didn’t catch that part?
Education is important and degrees don't mean the person has benefited from their years of studies, being perceptive and attention to details is EXTREMELY important on your journey, be ready for the struggle, under developed countries, Muslim or not require a little intuition, a little street smarts, leaving your comfort zone and NOT taking the chaos too seriously, YES you will bend the rules or have to and you will have to be MORE vigilant just not to get run over, and these are ALL good experiences to acquire as most of us are leaving our safe zoo like life/comfort to the raw jungle were survival requires instinct and vigilance! You are being prepared for WWIII LOL. Just a side not to emphasize my education comment above, when you READ/pay attention to ANY travel requirements worldwide they mention X days for allowed stay, NOT months! People assume 90 days means 3 months, it does NOT. Anywhere you go terms are counted in days no Hijri nor kufar calendars matter your arrival date is the day you arrive to the jungle! Make Hijra, live a little, get out of your comfort zone, experience and adjust accordingly! May Allah accept our struggle.
Brother, Assalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatkhu, Brother, I would like to make a hijra in Saudi Arabia, Brother, I would be very grateful, Brother, teach me how to make money online, I really need it.
Doctor voice is not clear
I was living in Madina had a great govt University job then left for my son studies in Canada. Alhamdulillah Allah gave me good positions and good government job in Canada too. I could hv stayed in Madina n send my son for studies but I couldn't leave him at that young age. I m here 7 years and lives my life only when I go to Saudi every year in my vacation. But leaving Madina is too hard for me. I feel like a fish without water in Canada. I thank Allah that without any plans he took me to Madina, then gave me patience to come out for my son. But now Allah only knows my heart condition. Every cell of my heart feels the pain of living far from Madina. I know when the time will come right, my rab will take me back . I miss Madina and long for it everytime.
Alhamdulillah
Jazak Allah Khair but i'm under 18 & Saudi doesn't allow under 18s to live alone in Saudi & they also don't let them in their country if you're an unaccompanied under 18 in their country.
As Salam Alaikum, Do they also have something like this for us Single Muslimahs
A person I would like to know his perspective is Dr. Lawrence Brown. I don't know him personally but have mutual acquaintances. He is a physician in the KSA. He is also an author and wrote some novels. Please interview him if you can. JazakAllahu khair!
So unclear this conversation. Is he saying that if you have a visitor visa, you can just go outside after 90 days and go inside again with the same visa and again be 90 days in the country?
I was in Dammam at that time as well. We have a 6pm curfew, then we had a 3pm curfew. No travel between provinces. Fines for being out after curfew. Repatriation flights back to the US didn’t start until April 2020. One way flights to Dulles international was almost $1900.
18:09 when he said 'we chopped it up' you know they had a good conversation loool
Riyadh is beatifull dry weather not stick muggy but soooo much traffic
Alhamdulilah they started rail subways it will lower the traffic by 30-40 percent in future
In future it will be high speed train from Riyadh to it will be 3.5 hours trip
So going to mecca will take 4.5 hours max by 2030
If your visa is expired in Saudi- Their security forces will make ICE look like the Boy Scouts.
What was Dr. Mother tongue? Looks he speaks Arabic?
Great video, he did not talk about why he did not find a job in Saudi Arabia even after phd? Also what happened to her daughter education,
I didn’t find anything that’s called permanent visitor visa. Any guidance on that would be appreciated.
So, 5 years is long term hijrah? 00:28
Thats what ive been saying. Moving all around. If you like traveling ok. And for children trying to expose them to muslim societies ok.
I actually met the Dr. Ernest on a flight to KSA (I believe it was arount Hajj time 2024) and he was a lovely down to earth brother MaShaAllah!
The Riyadh Metro.
If i have to chose cities in saudi will be jeddah or madina deff
Closer to go back yo my country
3 hours from albania to medina direct
Or 3 hours 35 min from albania to jeddah
Doctor please invest in a cheap microphone 🎤. Audio quality is bad.
Two Phds and recommending normies to make hijrah 😐😐😐
cool, can i pray to my christian god while there? As we allow muslims to do here on our soil in the US?
Lots of landlords will not rent to you without an iqaamah and lots of schools will not admit your children without an iqaamah.
It’s a very expensive way to live on the tourist e-visa.
