We've spent the last nearly five months since the Buffalo Bills' early exit from the playoffs talking about Bills players that are pending free agency, potential trades, and of course, the 2024 NFL Draft. The Caesars Superdome will celebrate its 50th birthday in style.  City officials said a nearly $500 million renovation plan for the stadium will finish in time for the arena to host Super Bowl LIX next February. The game will tie New Orleans for the record for most Super Bowls hosted at 11.  The renovations are expected to be finished by July and have already included the installation of new escalators, bathrooms, and walkways, among other amenities. Work was completed on the building’s eastern side in the summer of 2023 and then moved to the western side. The project was initially expected to cost $450 million when it was approved in 2019, but an additional $50 million in cost was added as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
