  • Hi my ppt stuck in consulate now it's one month from the date of interview.. and the status is approved from that date on the website. After sending the enquiry on portal they replied to me visa has refused and under review and status get changed and will receive new adjucated decision. But the status on website still same and I have to travel back Canada to resume my job
I don't know what shall be done..can you advice

  • Why are they hiring incompetent Visa officers? There's a reason why everything is filed with proof, with time and effort. The money doesnt even matter but the time. To tell someone that them and their significant other cant be together is insane. We need to do better, seeing as all these illegal immigrants can cross through just like that. 2 years just to interview and fail in 2 3 minutes is insanely hard to process. Mentally and physically break someone down.

  • Just asking a couple questions and not listening to our answers properly and without verifying the documents how can they deny visa.
As interview officer said me I am not qualified at Delhi embassy I was so depressed on 9th Oct 2024 with in a minute.

  • 6th sense to make a decision????*Bulshit, somebody should change this law as soon as possible… We are not slave and we dont have money and time to get visa after attempting 3-4th time for travelling to any country according to human rights … Human rights say each human has right to travel in the world. Of course you can control your borders and you can check status of people, but rejecting people according to 6th sense is just a comedy… You are getting peoples money and time for doing nothing… No documentation check, no detailed analysis of applicant so result is empty. Still people can get visa and can stay in US lands without any legal residence permit car/green card… so why you try to reject normal tourists? If visa officer is well educated, how 80% percantage of some countries can migrate to USA by using tourist visas? We are getting rejection and others can use it illegally? Right?

  • My whole family applied for B1/B2 visa including me when I was young and got rejected but when my mother applied as a single applicant she got her visa approved.
It is pretty obvious that when I am going to apply in future the VO is going to ask about my previous rejection and the reasons which I really can’t remember but if there will be any issue if I include “ I was too young to remember the reason for rejection but maybe it was because we applied together as a family because when my mother applied as a single application she got her visa approved and visited USA once for 13days and returned!”
    Please please reply to this!

  • We're not sure exactly what the visa officers are looking for, but from our experience, it seems like the decision is often predetermined, and the interview serves more as a confirmation of whether the applicant's details and persona match or not. Saying this because some people get their visa in minutes while some gets rejected.

Here in Nepal, we do not need to present any documents during the interview for the B1/B2 visa category. They rely solely on the details from the DS-160 form and the interview itself. Our own interview lasted less than 2 minutes, and the visa was granted, whereas other applicants were asked numerous questions and still had their visas denied. We don't mean to offend anyone, but it appears there is a filtering process starting from the application form itself. During the interview, you mainly need to correspond with what you've written on the DS-160 form. We have friends who were rejected (one had a petition filed in the US, leading to his tourist visa denial, as similarly happened with his brother at the US Embassy in Portugal, where they were informed of the reason), while others were granted visas based solely on the business volume of their parents. Therefore, our suggestion would be to focus more on how you fill out the DS-160 form and how your online presence is perceived. Are you or your business or your employer easily found on Google? Surely the Embassy receives thousands of applications every day so guess preparation right from the application form is the Key!! Anyway, we wish you all the best!

  • today was my interview in US Embassy Doha, the office looked at my DS 160 form for 5 minutes and asked me one question what is the purpose of your trip? he had the refusal paper in his hand i answered him very clear and he hand over me that paper.. it doesnt make any sense 😫😓

  • I don't think it is about preparation. I believe it is their mood. I was asked two questions only then asked to place my hand on biome 2:39 tric and was told denied. It is like they found something about me I don't know what.
Another guy ahead of me had a really great travel history. He had been to Canada on a conference and the same conference is now in US but he was still denied.

I don't think there is fairness in the issuance.

  • I just got denied my visa the reason was i didnt had enough strong ties with my home country. Was that a joke im a millionaire not bragging he just expressing my self i have my lot of businesses here how could they judge me without even asking about my background that i didnt have any strong ties

  • You are totally wrong,….people are paying and waiting a very long time to be heard,..many of your colleagues are Inventing questions with no legal base and facts. This it's very sad,….many of your colleagues they enjoy the power given to them to see the people cry and be frustrated. It's not right in many cases one person to determine on his opinion not based on facts and proofs you should be denied or rejected. Many times they are provocative and not just.

  • People complaining about being denied fail to remember that the majority of visa applications are granted.

It is just like getting a driver's license at any of a U.S. state's department of motor vehicles, most people successfully get their license, but yes, some people are unsuccessful (because they failed the written test, failed the driving test, or their paperwork was incomplete).

Does that mean the DMV staff are bad or evil people. Or that they are uncaring?

You all are also not taking into account that hundreds of thousands of visa holders each year choose to illegally violate their visas and stay in the U.S. permanently.

Those people spent a lot of money and effort on trying to fool the interviewer, because all they need is to get that initial tourist visa, then bam, they are good to go on illegally residing in the U.S.

Look at the bright side. If you pulled that in many nations, it is considered a crime. They will imprison you while awaiting an immigration court date. (In the Philippines there's guys still waiting for a court date after three to five years in prison.)

Here in the U.S. at worst you will simply be deported.

  • Thanks for The video in fact I have a question,if the Consular officer denied your visa he'll also mention why was the matter of my rejection in the computer? And What I said in my prior DS 160 in my 2nd attempt the officer will also see my prior Ds-160 ?? Thanks for help

  • I had been waiting for my B1b2 visa interview for about 2 years because before that i couldn't get appointment then i had to pay extra money to the local travel agent so i can get early appointment i had all the necessary documents invitation lettter from my family friend he purchased t20 world cup tickets disneyland tickets universal studio tickets but all of this went inside the basket 🧺 because interview officer doesnt see all these documents and denied my visa

  • The people at the embassy they are unprofessional at all just bullshiting us and wasting our money and time without any responsibility, I own 3.5 millions dollars villa , 2 cars Maserati and BMW , own 40% of multi million dollar company , operation manager and my wife is Italian , and my trip only for 5 days and i been in uk 4 times Europe 4 times Japan Singapore China south America 6 times , Thailand 12 times Maldives Dubai Qatar and many others countries and my passport allow me to enter the Schengen area without visa . and all my documents I took with me he didn’t look just 2 questions then denied 😮 😮😮😮😮 where is the profissionality of this person to made this decision?
