Hi Mike. This looks like a great product. I must ask though, have you ever had a call back? Meaning that the crack somehow still allows water to enter the basement and how you go about fixing it at that stage? Thanks for all your quality content. Great channel!!
Wtf tell us how to use the product not about why we should do it on the im trying to do it myself so I don’t have to hire a Predator like you to come in and rape me for 300 a hour
Just used this kit. I used my Milwaukee Caulk gun set on 4. It filled my crack all the way through to the outside of the wall which is under my deck. I guess I will be cleaning that up in a couple of days. This kit is awesome. Thanks for the video.
Some if not all of the material is carcinogenic — sanding it might not be a good idea because the sand lingers in the room long after you take your mask off.
Aren't you supposed to wait at least 8 hours to let the epoxy paste used to patch the crack and anchor the injection ports dry, before injecting epoxy into the injection ports? But, overall, great video.
I'd like to know what percentage of PermaSeal customer's require additional visits because the initial job was not done properly resulting in continued foundation leaking?
This is awesome content. I don't have a Crack, but as a creator I appreciate the time you took to produce this video and the opportunity to learn from you.
Hi Mike I have water coming in my basement at the union between the footing and the Bottom of the foundation wall it’s a horizontal crack 20 foot long do I use the corner injector port and what is the sequence of injecting since I’m going Sideways ? Thank you
Hi Mike. Kevin in Kansas. We bought a farm home and under the front door dormer we had a leak that would leak during hard downfalls under the staircase to the finished basement. We have Black Walnut trees on property and for some reason years ago they let one grow 20 feet from the front door. They also put useless gutters on the dormer that lead to nowhere. Bad combination. So, we watched your video and repaired the thin crack and cut the enormous tree. All good now. Thanks for your content. Your kit was amazing. Cheers.
Hey, thanks for the informative video. Really appreciate it! Was wondering if you have tips on how to repair a corner pop (I believe that is what it is called? ) in an old basement corner at the top where it should be supporting the wood . It’s a fairly old house (120 years). Lots of cracks and large holes in the basement walls. What would be the best what to go about making it presentable or fixing it for selling? Thank you!
do i have to make a drain out side?….beacause i have the same cracked but one guy come the other day and he told me …i has to make a drain outside .that mean he have to dig out side .its true or i can made the way you do in this video….thanks
Hello, Having done injection work for 21 years, (both epoxy and polyurethane) I do not agree with the way this repair is being performed. Foundation walls are about 10" thick or there abouts at least where I live. In order to obtain a proper bond, the entire substrate of the wall MUST be wet. Then and only then can the polyurethane be applied to the crack. Tight hairline cracks may need injection pressure up to 2200 psi to penetrate the crack. Without that happening the urethane can fail due to improper prep. This should be done with a crack cleaning agent first. After which it should be flushed out with water then injected with urethane. Any dirt in-between the substrate can cause the urethane to fail. Also to note, I may be pointing out the obvious but urethane is NOT a structural fix. That will require epoxy injection. Urethane has a time and place such as active leaks which may need immediate attention. The point of my post is not to devalue the product or what's being done but shed light on how to do this type of work properly so the fix will last as it should. Whenever possible I always recommend epoxy over urethane. I would be more than happy to help anyone with advice who may have a question. Take care,
should you open the crack a little first. thxs Mike
Why not just drill holes and inject some closed cell foam from home Depot? It's expanding foam not really high tec.
Hơ old is your house
please let me know how to deal with the water leak at the bottom corner where the wall meets the floor ???
Thanks for your informative video. I was wondering how this would hold up in -50 degree frozen winter weather.

Awesome. Thanks
The links for the kit don't work
Mike you did a fantastic job sir! This video was very helpful.
Can this be used for the joint where the wall meets the floor?
we had the one where you actually drill the holes on an angle and then add apoxy.. the guy did it over 5 years ago and it has never leaked again..

Would you take this approach if there is water leaking in while you do it
That grinder setup is nice as hell.

I've been filling people's cracks for 20 yrs.
After the dye process and injections like you have done in video should I put micro fiber straps after this process or I will be fine?
