“For birds and animals that should dwell out in Norway’s frigid winters, each second must be spent discovering sufficient meals not simply to outlive the day, but in addition the lengthy exhausting night time.”
Why don’t all birds fly south for the winter?

“Whether or not or not a hen flies south for the winter relies upon rather a lot on what meals the species eats.”

There are many species of birds that live in my area that don't migrate. The species vary from small wild birds, all the way to geese and ducks. You can find them year-round, and they never leave. You can find them year round our Lakes and on people's properties. There's a group of ducks and geese, that live in the park, but never leave regardless of the time of year. But I was told in school that birds migrate, but this seems to be the outliers.
shut up
Damn shes attractive
I stay warm by putting my hands in my draws
Amy is super cute
eagles and hawks don't migrate either, because they are capable of hunting both on land and on water.
The best way to stay warm when sleeping outdoors: As some of those birds do, huddle together.
If you share a sleeping bag with someone, you will both stay warm. Sometimes that can be the most fun way to stay warm, too.
lmao willow tits
I've slept in the cold several times. Once in a tent for a weekend in winter and the second time in my car for two weekends in back-to-back years during early March. All I can say is layer, build a nest (yes literally, pillow and blankets piled around you), and leave as little of you exposed as possible. Honestly, the tent was worse because it did little to nothing to block the frigid breeze and we slept directly on the ground. At least in my car, I could turn it on and run the heater for a few minutes right before I went to bed.
Fascinating!
There was a guy in Maine who somehow managed to survive winters outdoors for 27 years. Locals called him the north pond hermit and police were after him for the food and supplies he regularly stole from local summer camps, to live off of. They finally caught and arrested him 2 years ago. Here's a news article about it. http://news.yahoo.com/maine-hermit-living-wild-27-years-arrested-163447480.html
how i stay warm? i human. i build fire. fire good.
Humans have massive orgies to preserve heat.
nice
Norway FTW!
Me and my sister once slept outside during the winter. We used the trick of digging a small cavern in the snow to fit two people (we dug the snow cavern before we decided to sleep in it (we were kids)). While sleeping, we had our sleeping bags, a few layers of clothes, tucked inside the tiny snow cave, and blocked the entrance/exit with a heavy cloth to prevent any cold drag.
1:53 … MMMM TITS.

I got a fire going.
Fire. Fire was how me and the other scouts in my troop survived to earn our "Wilderness Survival" merit badges.

I have spent several nights out in the cold. Kept warm be a friendly mother and daughter. Brandy and Baby two Alaskan Huskies. Their kisses were a bit rough though.
My wife kicked me out of my house to have sex with some guy in my bedroom. So I had to sleep on the porch in the cold. I took some leaves and put em over me to make me warm. I forgave her though. She still has sex with that guy. But I love her.
