  4. You cannot set up Photo/Finger print or medical appointment(s) before you get your embassy interview date which could take years. Was DQ'd Oct 5, NVC expedited CR1 case Dec 5, 2024 (they sent files to the embassy since THEY CANNOT schedule an interview). I expect another 2-3 years wait. Will probably cancel our application and just live here in the Philippines. I am retired and easier to get a permanent Residence from the Philippines and live happily with my wife. CR1 processing in Manila is a scam.

  5. The us visa program is a complete and utter SCAM, as experienced now 3 times in Manila by my long time wife, just to visit lang. Your advice means NOTHING, prepare to be denied like everyone walking out of that dump with downcast faces.

  6. My son was paying the visa application at nvc and was approved or documentarily completed. Now the approved petition is forwarded in Manila, Philippines. Is there another visa fee for scheduling an interview appointment in Manila, Ph? About VAC, is the only way to schedule photo and fingerprint appointment is to wait for a slot? Waiting for the slot somewhat takes longer. Kindly share some information.

  7. And I spend about $800, for her to go to Manila. Because the day is different on the fingerprinting and the interview. So she had to fly from now to Manila, so she can get interview and also the fingerprint. And then stay in a hotel over there. So it’s cost me money.and it’s sad because now they can’t give her any visa they didn’t give her any reason why. They didn’t read the paper from the Hospice that my dad is in hospice at this moment. That is it is terrible. I’m very disappointed with the government in United States.

  8. Yeah, I was wondering that why does the US Embassy want to let their daughter over US citizen who is dying, and in hospice denied their visa? My father is 90 years old and he’s in hospice right now unfortunately he is still on the right of mind, he could still think about all his children, my brother came. They gave him visa, but my sister applied this morning, which is morning over there night over here, and they didn’t give her any visa. Apparently they didn’t give her any reason why. Sucks.

  12. Dear Jocelyn, my name is Michael, and I live in Hawai'i. My single Filipina girlfriend, 51, who lives in Isabela, applied for a B-2 nonimmigrant tourist visa earlier this year. Her visa interview appointment at the U.S. Embassy in Manila is scheduled for this coming Monday, November 25th. However, after consulting with a reliable source in Cebu City as well as an immigration attorney here in the U.S., we have decided to cancel her visa interview appointment. This is because, according to these experts, a single woman of her age with no regular, paid employment in the Philippines probably will be denied a visa. Here are my questions:

    1. Do you have any knowledge of or experience with single women with profiles similar to my girlfriend who have had nonimmigrant visa interviews there?

    2. If so, how many?

    3. Of those, how many were granted B-2 nonimmigrant (tourist) visas?

    4. What would you recommend that we do to maximize her chances of being granted a visa to come to the United States?

Thank you so much for your answers to these questions!

    Salamat and sincerely,

    Michael

P.S. I would suggest that you update your video titled "HOW TO ANSWER THE MOST COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR US TOURIST VISA INTERVIEW| PLUS IMPORTANT TIPS," as it will be a year old this January, and some of the information in it is out of date. I also encourage you to do a new video about the likelihood of single Filipinas to get a U.S. nonimmigrant tourist visas (through filling out the DS-160 form) under different scenarios.
