I am a US citizen married 7 years to a Filipina. I need open heart surgury and can not travel alone…………….We prepared & presented all the documentation and were denied two times. DENIED & DENIED AGAIN!!!! I traveled alone and it nearly killed me. My heart was so weak they couldnt operate & sent me home to manila. Both times they didnt even look at the documentation they just denied the visa. We are re applying as I have to try again in Oct. Everyone we know that has applied for a spousal visa to accompany a US citizen spouse for medical attention has been denied……. IT IS AN OUT RAGE!!!!!!!! NO EXPLANATION, APPLICATION FEE'S NOT REFUNDED……………… BLINKENS ADMIN IS RESPONSIBLE, IT USED TO BE SO EASY…………………………. OUTRAGIOUS!!!!

My B1/B2 visa was approved in like 30 secs and received the visa in 2 days. I’m an international student and my interview was in Halifax, NS, Canada. The thing is I had so many documents with me just in case, however I feel like when you are prepared they won’t check, when you are not prepared they will ask for those documents. Always be on the safe side, always be honest and most importantly just pray that the consular officer slept good.

I'm a British Citizen and my wife is an Indian Citizen with a residence permit to live in the UK. She will be attending her B1/B2 Visa interview in the next few days and all expenses will be covered by myself as my wife is currently unemployed.
If we show proof that she is married to me with a marriage certificate and also provide my own payslips and bank statements, would that be sufficient enough to prove we have the funds to support ourselves?
