  2. Democrats didn't help immigrants here to get documentation. Obama promised to do so and then deported millions. Biden didn't help many here and let in 20 million more. They don't care about citizens or immigrants.

  3. Thats messed up. I have worked my butt off to go through everything and met all the requirements to a legal resident here and now, US citizen. And this person has been here taking all the benefits. TIME TO GO HOME.

  5. It always baffles me when someone says how are you not legal after all of these years because it clearly shows they don’t have a good understanding of immigration law. Believe it not, even if someone wants to become legal, there are only a handful of ways to do that and most migrants don’t qualify for any. The other and sometimes easiest way is through marriage and the only way to qualify for that is if an American citizen decides to marry you and agrees to sponsor you- everyone doesn’t have that luxury or a parent or a child who is a citizen who can file for them. My friend came here at 6, at 36 now she’s been here still without a green card or citizenship -30 years later. I know a lady who has been here 40 plus years and only got her green card through her son after he turned 21 because she didn’t have any other way to qualify. Bought a house, paid priority taxes, paid state income taxes but could never get a green card because there was no option for her

Believe it or not if you live in an area with lots of immigrants, your kids probably go to school with kids who are undocumented, and sometimes they don’t know until they graduate high school and realize they don’t qualify for financial aid like their peers or can’t get a drivers license.

Many people try to become legal and sometimes don’t event know until it’s too late

  6. A guy I know overstayed about 3 years and got married to a US citizen. They are giving him the hardest time of his life!!. They keep denying him. So now he has nothing even his work permit is expiring. His lawyer even told him to stay at his job he has now cause he will have no papers to work. He has nothing but a wife right now. Been here for 5 years and even through marriage he still has nothing. Tbh.. I’m just sitting back watching and eating my popcorn 😊

  7. Overstaying by 30 years? I don't know how a lawyer would help in this case. The person knows he was in violation. I think the visitor will get a permanent ban to re-entry.
