Just In!! Jodie Comer singed her eyelashes learning to smoke for latest film

Comer, the Liverpudlian actress who found fame in Killing Eve, is one 11 stars on the cover of Vanity Fair’s annual Hollywood issue.

She is joined by Barry Keoghan, the Irish star of Saltburn, who wears a smart suit for the cover shot but poses naked in an accompanying promotional video clip.

Keoghan’s nude dancing scene at the end of Saltburn has become the most talked-about film moment of the year.

“It’s crazy,” the 31-year-old said of the reaction to the scene. “You look at European cinema and they tend to have a lot of scenes that involve nudity, and it’s not a massive thing, really. But I think it’s true art. It really is.”

Other actors on this year’s cover include Natalie Portman and Bradley Cooper.

Portman said that cinema has declined so far as a form of entertainment that children would struggle today to identify a Hollywood star.

The actress has two children, aged seven and 12, and said they are more familiar with YouTubers than famous actors.

Speaking about the changes she has seen in Hollywood over the course of her 30-year career, Portman said: “The striking thing has been the decline of film as a primary form of entertainment.

“It feels much more niche now. If you ask someone my kids’ age about movie stars, they don’t know anyone compared to YouTube stars or whatever.”
