You would think a video about immigration "theory" would give examples of US immigration policies, right? There is no mention of the actual laws that are either pro or anti immigration. This is all propaganda disguised as an educational or informational video. Just because these points are made with infographics doesn't mean there is any actual information being provided. Why doesn't it provide the actual number of foreign born citizens in the US? Also very curious how they mention critical race theory, critical colonial theory but not critical class theory. Hmmm wonder what that's about? We don't want people to be critical of our super-wealthy/working-poor class system – an economic system that has proven to keep wages stagnant or depressed, an economic system that ties access to healthcare to employment, an economic system that doesn't provide family leave and forces parents to spend more time working than with their actual families. Restricting immigration isn't just about maintaining a "white" nation; it's also about maintaining working people against one another and controlled. If you can maintain one segment of the working population undocumented/criminalized, then you can turn other poor people against them.
Illegals are the same as those people who just take over your house, live in it and the police can’t get them out.

I have lived in Asia for quite some time, but I do have a cousin, much younger than me, who holds dual citizenship. When the time came to choose which citizenship to relinquish, Indonesia was an easy decision for him. He has told me several times that, although the USA isn't perfect, the opportunities it offers are incomparable to those in other countries. These opportunities have been built through the hard work of its citizens, yet now, some of these same citizens seem to want to take them for granted and give them away.
I don't understand the logic. Why do these 'wealthy' people continue to act in such a ungrateful manner?

Slavery wasnt significant in the success of the US. What was significant was Western capitalism, technology, industrialisation, and law.
Many European countries never had slavery or even colonies, but became just as rich per capita as the US —- Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland. And some of the countries that had the biggest empires and the most slaves — Spain, Portugal —- are now among the less prosperous Europeans. Brazil had 3X the number of slaves as the US but is still much lower GDP per capita.
