  1. I forgot about Minecraft for a while but I was lucky enough to come back to it 2 days before the migration period ended to save my family’s 10+ year minecraft account at the time

  2. my dad bought the game for me back in 2017 when I was a kid… I didn't really know anything outside of minecraft I just wanted to play, then I stopped playing Java because he got me a tablet for christmas but I still kept playing minecraft PE, he passed away in 2018, and probably about mid 2019 I wanted to play Java again but I didn't find the game on his computer and I didn't know how to get it throught the official page, so as a kid I watched tutorials and I went through the first one I saw, and I downlaoded a pirated version of minecraft, I didn't really cared or had no clue but I just wanted to play, then probably in 2021 when I already grew up more and knew more about it I tried to go into the minecraft website and logged in with his Microsoft account to see if I could recover the license, there was the profile he made for me and everything but I didn't see that the account owned minecraft, then I gave up cuz I thought he bought it with another account or something, but I knew it was original, I had the original launcher and I remember when he was testing it he launched the pocket edition but switched it to java, I didn't know there was this migration in 2021 and that he bought the game with a mojang account (I had to log in with the mojang account he made) and I didn't know that, and just now I realized about that and well, it's too late now migration has ended in 2023 and I've completely lost acces to the license my dad bought for me, sad that they had to go throught with this migration nonsense but I guess i'll have to buy the game back.

  3. I got minecraft when I was a child and we registered the mojang account under my dad's email, microsoft wants you to have the same email for your microsoft account as for the mojang account. Complete bullshit. I can't play now.

  7. Yup, my computer broke and life happened.
Literally have no money to do anything and I figured, well, maybe I can have some fun by playing some games and I thought of minecraft, which is relaxing and calm. Now, trying to access it, all I see is microtransactions, forcing me to rebuy the game, but I can't so I guess I'm not playing.

I bought the game in like 2011..
Now they've erased my account? Perfect, totally on par with Microsoft, and reasons like this is why people hate on them. Anti-consumer, spying conglomerate that just wants to eat all the information it can about you, forcing you to pay for something you've paid for as well as cram extra microtransctions into it. Fucking bs.
