Please I am an International student in Canada. I applied for us tourist visa in March. And I got a date for February 2026. But last week I received an email that I am qualified for the new date. I change my date to January 2025
However, my study permit expires in February 2025. I can only apply for a postgraduate work permit in January month end. Please should I cancel the date?

Nothing like that. Many are alone but still their visa have been approved. I have seen at the Embassy. Can not assume and predict anything without seeing real interviews. It depends, many can not speak English properly also but they got visa even after their English is ok type. Some speak fluently but their visa has been rejected. Any visa related query ask me.
